The brink of tears
And unload on me
All of your fears

And I will mirror
Everything you've said
In understanding
Until we've both bled

And take you under
My broken wings
Until the sun has
Risen to find
Us both safe again
For the moment

If we could only
Escape this moment

Tell me about
Your broken brother
Your fruitlessness
Your hopelessly lost mother
The dead father

Let me breath in
Your Weightlight
And exhale care
This filter is suffering
From lack of air

My brother, my buddy
So much that
I want to save you
Like I want to save me

But your doomsday seer
That you keep inside
Is combining with mine
To fill my eyes

I'd tell you in person
But I don't want to be
The Deathblow
I guess I'm still
More alive than I
Like to show

Myself. [comments] => 0 [counter] => 145 [topic] => 43 [informant] => xnoybis [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
