That moment you'll be in my arms, carefree.
My baby girl who I've waited for for so long,
Oh how I hope you'll grow to be so strong.

Harloe is the name I've picked for you,
One day you'll pick your daughters name, too.
This world is full of good and bad,
As your mother, I never want to see you sad.

My little girl I'll show you the way,
Everything to do and so much to play.
You'll never be scared or alone with me near,
My darling baby, you're loved, please have no fear.

Your daddy loves you even though he might not be here,
He'd want me to tell you in your heart he's near.
But baby girl, your live will be full of love,
From everyone in your life and the God above.

Some say I'm too young to jump into this,
I disagree, for you've already brought my life so much bliss.
The greatest joy I could have dreamed of,
I'll go through it anytime, this labor of love.

I knew I wanted you before I conceived you,
Your daddy loved you before he knew you, too.
I dreamt of one day having a little girl,
With a cute little dress and a dark little curl.

Just know that I'll always be there,
To you, my baby girl, this I swear.
I'll never leave you and won't let you down,
I promise not to let you go with a frown.

I love you always and forever,
Child of mine, I will leave you, never. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 231 [topic] => 5 [informant] => julianasmommy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )
