reminding me of a wanton lover
waiting for dusk to fall
escaping into her lovers arms.

Lonely sitting out there
spread between hard edges and sand.
Barren in her need and wanting.
Seeking replenishing springs of love
to carry her softly into the shadows of night.

Maybe it’s a peaceful reminder
that lonely never is complete.
Just a thought in itself, some don’t need that deeply.
So she sits, the desolate valley, awaiting something.
Or maybe nothing at all, happy in her own setting.

Michelle, first, let me say that picture is IMPECCABLE!! The mount in the distance
has captured my special attention. It is the only thing still being kissed by the sun
and it is absolute in its beauty. I ADORE it!!

Secondly, the piece itself is beauty wrapped in beauty. I especially loved this..

"that lonely never is complete."

oh that is exquisite!

*hugs*
