Array ( [sid] => 145077 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Maine [time] => 2008-09-11 05:30:16 [hometext] => Written for Jeanine. Inspired by our vacation in Maine this summer... [bodytext] => Fond memories, seaside’s smell of salt
An affection of what was, I dearly exalt
Of what can be, I silently extol
What she has given me, has made me whole
I glance back at her, from the surf
Then back to our children, with utmost mirth
She has given me this, the greatest of all
My heart and soul, she will forever enthrall
Warm thoughts and possibly so much more
Her love, her desire, I furtively implore
I am grateful for all that she has given me
Watching our children frolic in the sea

Steve, this was DAMN enchanting!

I love how your emotion covers the page and allows the reader to
soak it up. It's enough to leave one breathless. I really feel the joy
and beauty you shared on that beach. Beautiful and heartfelt.

Kudos my dear poet!!

~ Breezy

She is quite the muse, for she elicits the
most endearing poetry from you. I am so
honored to have the pleasure of reading it
with your heart sitting right out there on the
page as it does. Wonderful imagery and
love in this.

~Jesse
