I sit alone on my couch
Listening to the rain
As it splashes and drips
Steam rises from the cup of tea
That I cradle on my chest
The candle light flickers
Casting shadows upon the wall
When my mind settles
My thoughts are always the same
I wonder how much longer I have to wait
I wonder where I will meet him
I wonder if he is real
Or if it is only a dream
That can never be
Sometimes its maddening
Not being able to know what it is to come
I wonder if hell ever find me
Or if Ill always be alone
I get so mixed up inside
I hardly know what to feel
Why is it that the one thing I truly want
Is the one thing I cannot have?
Why must I always be alone?
Why is it me thats never good enough?
I hope I will know what is it to be loved
At least once before my time is up

don't look at it as you not good enough. the he you wait on couldn't have you if you were with the wrong one. if you believe in fate at all, trust in that. perhaps they keep you from being stuck...
