I search for your face among the crowds of people who loom so largely
A stranger, I have become so lonely
Never knowing from where the next minute will come and sweep me away

The trail I follow, littered with reminders, leads me to nowhere good
I seek protection and shelter, a warm body to hold and guide me through the night
Tired eyes close for a peaceful surrender from over stimulation, all the pretty colors collide

The love that once thrived is now deceases
With it went our friendship, our intimate bond

As always jyss, you send the mind to wander within waves of fervent emotion.
There is not always clarity for the reader, but you never fail to deliver a delicious
feast for the heart. There is direction without direction in this, if you know what
I mean. I love it. I have felt this, and it is sometimes all you can do to just breathe
you know?

These open and honest writes from you always freak me out a little! This reads very intimately, and the wording lonely. A very sad and emotive piece.
