if I was a painter
I`d paint you a world

if I was a singer
I`d sing you a song..

if I was a builder
no shelter would fall.

if I was a healer
each day would be new.

chorus
"I am a poet
I give you my word,
search in your heart
find my love there."

if I was the Captain
I`d pull you in from the wave"

If I was the poor-man
I`d give you half..

Well, honestly, I am a bit speechless. You two did an awesome thing here and yep, you are correct, Poets are everything mentioned in this song. I know this song speaks for a lot of us as we'd do it for another if we could but all we've basically got are our words.

*applauds* (literally) lol... I think I startled Cimba.

You two are great!!! Thank you ever so much.

Much love,

Tim

Lane, you never cease to amaze. I know this piece. And I loved
it the first time I read the sentiment. But when you "crowify" words,
it is become something not of this world.

Poets are indeed an interesting breed. (And hopefully not as
dying as some may think)

Great post you two!!
