Array ( [sid] => 145793 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Oh My Friend [time] => 2008-10-20 01:16:39 [hometext] => this came after a long talk with a dear sweet friend tonight........ ahhhhhhhhh [bodytext] => The brush of dawn will shine soon,
casting rays through colored leaves,
making tiny diamonds in falls dew.
Painting the skies in flushes of pink.

Oh my friend I miss you so.......
It would be nice to hold you near,
see your smile, laugh then cry
to start once more, over again.

We "want" then "need"
I know your heart, you wear mine.
Wishing we could spend those moments
just as the sun rises over the mountain.
You miss me? I know....... I feel you always with me.

Is it magic? Yes..... has it been overcome?
With life, with death with tragic moments?
No for we are just who we are.
That doesn't change.......

I wipe your tears, I shed mine with you.
No need to hide our hearts in shame.
Feel the hug wrapped tight around you,
morn is coming round the bend.

Night my friend........ I will be there soon.
May the pale of the blue dancing round the moon
find you and wrap itself around you.
We are natures dancers........ aren't we?

yes.................. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 205 [topic] => 43 [informant] => shelby [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

to talk to you tonight. I did try to call ya.
Not answering?
I am sorry. Please answer tomorrow ok?
I got to talk to you.

Shel, this was so beautifully rapturous. There is an element of
comfort in this that wraps the readers heart in sentiment until he/she
can no longer breathe. Like a boa it just keeps constricting the strings
of the heart, ever so gently. It's gorgeous hun. Nothing like the warmth
of a friend to fill us with the sense of happiness and beauty.

Wonderful post, my friend.
