There really is not enough time
well at least not in my mind
We think we own this earth
but time rules all
and time sees that we eventually fall

Only two years ago
My grandma died
Time took her away
And i didn't have time to tell her all of what i wanted to say
There's not enough time

To enjoy the simplest things
All i want is to say bye
And that i love you
I wish you could have heard it before you died

What hurts me worst is the time of year
When you left us crying in tears
Time rules all
and it can be so cruel
it was a happy time of year

But then why am I in tears?
Merry Christmas to me
Can't you see
The only present i got was one i wouldn't take
But I had no choice to open and see

For on that Christmas
My grandmothers grave loomed under the tree
Time rules all
From time of birth
to time of death

It took what was mine
time slowly eroded my grandma's spirit till she died
like i said at least it's not in my mind
but i think there's never enough time

But then again what do i know

Well Kelly,
form this write I'd say you know a lot.
I've never really thought about things this way.
Loss of a luved is always hard as both my parents are deceased and my grand mothers have been deceased a long time.
good point and good writing.
huggs, blessings,
emy
Your granma is now your guardian angel watching over you.

Kelly~
Bit of a tear jerker from you. Very beautifully done. I have seen you write several different ways. You do it all well.
As far as your subject here~goodbyes are so darn hard. Your words are too true. Time is so precious. I wish I knew a magical solution to stop your pain. All I got to offer is support. I have faith that she feels your love. Emy and Outlaw are speaking truth as well.
Anyway, I am always here to listen. drop me a line. I miss your Smiles in my mailbox! If you aren't smiling, I'll send you some of mine
love smiles blessings
kara
