[bodytext] => "Take a seat" she said so politely With her ballet shows wrapped around her feet She stuck a cigerette in her mouth And sucked it so hard; it nearly blew out She pulled her hair back out of her face And her pupils dilated, strained by the light Her lips were glossy, yet so chapped And the bruises she had, from more then a slap "Want a drink?" she finished with a smile And I nodded almost mechanically, so spellbound She walked away and the blisters caught my eye The back of her legs so scarred in time She sat down with me and sculled her wine Then she poured another glass, i hadnt even touched mine The poison fell down the back of her mouth And she stared into nothingness, as if no one was around Bracelets the sweet facade for arms so sliced Nights she sat alone with her butcher knife "Life is lonely" she whispered, talking to herself more then me As her fingernails dug until her hands would bleed. I wrapped my fingers around her hand. She shuddered. And pulled away. "You'd never love me," "Not while I'm this way" But she was wrong. Oh so wrong. I can't let her run.
