Never broke a promise...had a heart of gold,
Woke up every morning... A smile so bright it could blind,
A heart that never spoke ..was mourning....yet she looked so refined,
Day to day she put up a front...as if nothing were the matter,
But deep inside...everytime she saw the mirrors reflection...she wished it would shatter,
Her perfect legs to her were just ugly,
Her slim waste in her mind was too chunky,
Every meal she ate....would come up soon after,
Then tears of regret...while covering them up with some fake laughter,
Her mother never suspected, her friends never knew,
So self rejected...nausiated by every chew,
The days grew old...her body grew thin,
The nights were cold..from the agony within,
Laying in her bed...shaking with hunger,
Wishing mommy could make it all better...like it was when she was younger,
When she was Little Ms.Perfect...

We are so very impressionable when we are young. Especially vulnerable if not heeded or watched closely...
A very nice, but painful read...
Take care
Steve
