Save a small space in your heart for me
I dont require much room or sympathy
I would love you until the death of me
Until all that is left fades into a memory
I substitute my reality.
Think of me once in a blue moon
In the whispered hush of a soft tune
In the bristling winds
With the weeping typhoon
In the eerie silence
Scattered among the flowers in bloom
Pellets of perfume
I am a caterpillar
Beseeching entry into your cocoon
Into your womb
Not a moment too soon
Save your skin for my touch
Save your smiles for my eyes
Your words for my ears
Save your tears
Save your lies
Place your hands in mine
Trust me
We will be just fine

Oooh, I love when you let your inner rhyme animal out to play! Great piece of poetry. I like the layout with the stand alone lines. I love the breathless pace.
