And Dust glitters, sparkles

His moist nose twitches

As flowers greet the dawn and spread their wings
Flying, but never leaving the ground

One sleep encrusted eye opens

As mail is delivered from a blue-suited gent
Newspaper flopped onto stained wood

The beast is awakened
And sneaks up to his prey
He waits then POUNCES

As paper rain drenches down in torrents,
Flooding the lawn

He exuberates joy
Then RETREATS
Into the sanctity of His den

While the remains of his prey coat
the ground in a blanket of articles and advertisements

Yes, it sharply changes from being all solemn to a very humorous undertone. Thanks for sharing it =).
