now that i can see my truths
there is nothing left to say i guess
there is nothing there
it all feels so empty
feeling so crowded
yet, i know i am truly alone
this road is for me
no one else

a friend told me last night
that in spite of all the chaos
i finally appear happy
he no longer felt the need to worry
appearances aren't everything
i wanted to tell him
but everyone needs to see that happy face
they need to see the healthy me
throw the truth at me
but never let me bounce it back
yes, this is my road
directions are unknown
but i will walk it alone
and one day bounce back

Kara I`ve thought about this write..I am reminded of a story an old indian friend told me... the bear awakes and is needful and restless, though the rabbit is plentiful and the bear`s belly full, the hunt easy... He starves.

I hope the ones you need to love you step-up soon my friend. love you. Lane

This has that inner resolve that I was trying to capture
in Goldilocks poem, but you do it so well here with "Bounce". Great.

Kara,
this is such a sad and mournful write....

This road is for me no one else..... how solid and profound is that? At times we do need to venture off on our own. In the midst of lonely, and alone..... comes a certain clarity...... TRUE!!

Yet when we feel alone, we never really are.
It is something that tries to settle in and make us believe, but it is a false belief.....

Hope you feel better soon my dear

Hugs
Shall

This is quite deep, beautiful
and it touches the spirit,
all your work is meaningful,
i like this poem, your work
has an honest intensity and
yet an unsettling vulnerability
to it, again another little
masterpeice straight from
the heart . . .

and likewise i thank you
for your read and i wanna
wish you a safe and happy
new year to come,
keep up the splendid writting.

Ben

Okay, I'm back to where I can actually be of some use. You write with such intense emotion plus being friends makes it even more intense. When I read it the other day I think all I could think of at the time was how you really don't have to travel that road alone even though, yes, it is yours to travel and no one else's. But, I hope you do realize that if you do decide to stop at one of those rest stops along the way, there are many of us that will be there waiting for you if you need us.

This is so profound it's like I could see so much meaning with each line. I would like to say though, and actually, I'm sure you already know this, but hey, I'm gonna say it anyway....if ya' don't want to wear that happy face don't. Be yourself. You kare for so many people in that oh so special Karabear way, we cannot help but kare about you.

Always your friend,

Timmybear
(waiting for that bounce)
