…and I have yet to collect
my 200 miracles,
get out of hell free card
or promised “someday soon”

but property.
oh I’ve got lots of that!
between backstabbed avenue
and shot-down-place,

and some others I picked up
as I raced from space to space

yes, I’ve passed go
more than just a few times,
from those early days in red-brick-buildings,
a shattered Christmas dream,
long lost autumn,
smoke pierced by one star’s gleam...

so many “go’s”
and not one happy “end”

I guess that this must be
the game where no one wins

I’ve passed “go”
more than a time or two
you know…

…and I have yet to collect

this made me smile. I loved how you played with the words and made them fit a dark analogy. It seems unexpected because it's a board game. I really liked it and I don't think it's terrible at all. It's different and original and interesting.
