Array ( [sid] => 147254 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Truth In Your Lies [time] => 2009-01-05 21:21:45 [hometext] => this is a song how I lost my fiancee to another man. To this day she is saying once I work myself out she will be back with me. lies. [bodytext] =>

The Truth In Your Lies

Never thought it would happen this way
The fear keeping me at bay
Known I’ve done you wrong
I keep fighting for you
Yet you’re still so far away…

Leading me on, I’m still waiting
Trusting in all that you’re saying
don’t know what to believe
Keeping hope
Just so I can cope

[chorus:]
It’s the Truth in your lies
Your words make me cry
It’s the truth in your lies
When you say you love me
Say you love me
Let opportunity arise…

I pushed your heart around
Dug it into the ground
Made you leave me
Made you see
All when I let you down

Now I pray you’re happy
When you’re not with me
I’m holding on just barely
Waiting for you and me

[chorus:]

You say we will work it out
Prove to me you’re devout
I’ll give you all you need
Hear out my final plead
If we can do all this
The pain then will dismiss
Just trust in me
And you will see
The opportunity will arise
As long as there no more lies
No more lies
Lies!

I love this! I think I myself, and many others can relate to it. You really put all your feelings into this. I know exactly how you feel though. My boyfriend broke up with me for another women but always strung me along and made me feel like there was hope, when deep down i knew ther wasnt any. I just wanted him to tell me goodbye and that be that. I didnt want to waste my time on someone who wasnt Real about me. And deep down, i am happier without him. Maybe you should tell her goodbye for good?
