I am so sick
Head feels as if it was hit by a brick.
My nose is a Niagara, always running.
Family and friends me are shunning.

I have a fever of a hundred and one,
my brain is cooking, stick a fork in me, I’m done.
I ache all over, I am falling apart,
oops, excuse me that was a fart.

No control over anything,
I feel like I am dying.
Coughs and sneezes vie for exit with one another,
that’s the top end; you know what is happening at the other.

My body is making a stranger noise,
this cold my whole body wants to destroy.
I think I would have to die to get better,
I whine, Stacey, could you bring me a sweater.

I can’t go to work like typhoid Bob,
I would end up killing everyone else on the job.
I hate a cold, I would rather take a beating,
would someone please turn up the heating.

What do you mean I am a world class whiner,
that in a whining contest I would be a winner?
I am sick you know,
I think I need another pillow.

I may never rise again,
from all activity I will have to abstain.
What? going where? to see the new movie by Eastwood?
wait I’m getting dressed, that is supposed to be good.

lol brilliant. it reminded me so much of the writing of jeremy clarkson (a british tv presenter). in fact it was very british in style, it was sarcastic and whitty. i loved it actually, it made me laugh. and that is priceless Bob.

Sometimes that darn flu make a person feel like they shall never rise again!

I found this write clever and witty with a touch of feel good smiles mixed in. It is a hard thing to do to make being sick a fun experience . I enjoyed this.

If you are sick get well soon lol.

Hugs to you
Michelle
