A gift from the Father
yet more You have been
To help me, warn me,
to keep me from sin
Your presence inside me
affirms that I'm sealed
To the day of salvation
when Christ is revealed
And though I oft grieve You
by action or thought,
You're here to remind me
of things I forgot
You're closer to me
than my dearest friend
My heart is Your temple
You're life without end
