Array ( [sid] => 14807 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The Darkness [time] => 2003-03-23 22:45:00 [hometext] => I'm pleading the 5th on this one. [bodytext] => Within this darkness, within myself,
I am lost in sin but still cryout,
I cryout niether from happiness nor from pain,
Instead i cryout to be heard agin.
My voice has withered, my heart grown cold,
My soul is dying from sins of old.
I want to escape, I have even tried,
From this place, where the dark resides.
I have felt the fear of the darkness, the joy of the light, the warmth of love, and the pain of spite.
From the darkness i have ran but never to escape,
Here there is no salvation from this dark and dreary place.
It has niether cieling, nor door, window, or floor,
It is black as night and cold as ice,
Niether age, wisdom, or time can suffice.
The darkness inside cannot be overcome,
As it grows inside you will succumb,
When you learn to love you love to hate,
Even when done once it's far too late.
You see the darkness i speak of, the darkness inside.
When it covers your ears and closes your eyes,
You are blind to see and deaf to hear,
The darkness inside that you should fear.

Very insightful work. It doesn't matter where you go becuase your problem is inside you and it goes everywhere you go. Life can be hard. Be strong.
