People always tell me,
That they are not the same,
But in the end,
When they leave,
Its like they never came,
They come here with there smiles,
And words of forever,
I should know not to listen,
When they say never,
For soon enough theyll leave again,
And promise to write,
They are all the same,
And Im forgotten within the night,
Ive come to realize,
That when its time to say goodbye,
Even if they promised to keep in touch,
Its all a lie,
For now I know,
That distance,
Is all it will really take,
That when they leave,
The promise that there different is fake,
Once there gone all I have,
Is memories from when they were here,
I will never again believe the lies,
No matter how sure there sincere,
Cause when they leave,
It wont take long,
Until I am forgotten again,
Know matter how hard I try,
I will never truly win,
For people always leave,
Thats how it will always be,
So I must face facts,
They will never remember me.
