Oh I declare,
Your honesty embeds a sore on one’s own.
A two,
Oh I declare,
Rolls eyes, I stick my tongue out at you.
A three,
Oh Gosh I declare,
Maybe your right, I mustn’t disagree.
A four,
Oh I declare,
Almost there, just a few more lines to explore.
A five,
Oh I Declare,
Thank you for your Kindness, your time,
My piece is now derived.

Ok I now normally you don’t comment on Your own pieces, But I would like to comment on this. There are many Poets/Poetess out there who take the time to make comments on peoples writing,
I will name a few who stick out, Miss Jenni_k ur kind words always make me smile, Philtooth, Emystar this one is Smiles in bubbles, always ready to burst. Shelby another person who I admire, her poetry on nature is fascinating and always has kind words for others. Timotheus It’s my turn to make a comment on you, this man takes more time for all others than most, so unselfish with his thoughts on peoples work. Thank you so much Tim.
I know there are many more like Deadwriter ect ect, and realized I missed many. All I wanted is to let others know, take the time like these people. It really goes along ways and inspires many to become even better.

yes somebody talked to me about this the other day, the power of the compliment. i understand that many poets are very fragile and one trickle of criticism can bring them crashing down. but the only person who really matters is the poet themselves, because they create the masterpiece, others only admire it.

Okay, I was already smiling when I read the poem, which btw, without the comment, I thoroughly enjoyed. lol.... and honestly, I don't always read other's comments as I don't wish them to influence any of my opinion, whether consciously or unconsciously, but now, after reading your comment, I don't quite know what to say.... except, thank you. lol... couldn't help but notice it.

Anyway, now I thank you kind sir.

I read a poem that had something like 169 votes on it!!! But only 40 some odd comments. Don't know why I randomly said that but this also made me remember that one.

Tim
(who still has a huge grin on his face)

P.S. Cool quote too.
