Im thinking of you
You enter my mind
And the memories flood through
Slight of build
Soft blow away hair
20 silk cut purple
Sitting in the kitchen on your chair
Phone on the table
Club orange in a glass
Handbag in front of you
These memories dont pass
Sitting & waiting
For a visit or call
How you filled up our lives
For someone so small
On passing you by
You'd throw me a smile
I'd sit down opposite
With you for a while
You take out a cigarette
And lean to the right
Into youre bag
To get a light
You talk of your day
And where you have been
Of a nurse or a doctor
That you had seen
Yet you never forget
To ask about me
Of how i am feeling
And my family
Dont realize what you have
'Till its lost or gone
But in my heart & my mind
You will always live on [comments] => 3 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 32 [informant] => seanmcparland [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

A beautiful and loving tribute to your Mom...

For you--->

"Keep her close to you,
Let her live on in your heart.
Even though you may think
You are now worlds apart.
Cherish always the values
That to you she did impart.

Know that she is at peace now,
Free of all her pain.
Let the good times you shared
Be the memories that remain.
And know that one day
You’ll be together again."

God Bless...
Jenni

Thanks for sharing her and the memories with us.
A beautiful tribute well written.
I am so sorry for your loss.

The memory of her
will live on forever
those we love or never gone
they live within our hearts.

It is never a goodbye
but a saddened see you sometime
and believe you will reunite
and be together once again.

Hugs
Michelle
