So to pluck it out would surely be the death of me
As here I sit and wait, till her sweet perfume once more fills my lungs
And life has meaning and purpose yet again

She has petals as soft as a baby’s breath

this brought tears to my eyes. I hope that you find the way back to the petals and beauty and not so much of the thorn. Your poetry has always had a special place within my heart and soul, your words always move the reader deeply. I felt your heart my friend.
