My cousin under fire, promotions and under fire blues.
Doing his best to keep people safe, a war on the streets.
Long ago in western days, Tuscon wild and untamed
Now in 2009 wild and violent days only with bigger guns.

I knew how dangerous his job was, now it is taken up a notch.
He in head of border violence, fire blazing, gun shots every moment.
My heart raced as I watched it, hardly believing my eyes
There is serious danger everywhere, war waging on our soils.

Men charging and shooting at people in broad daylight.
Home owners firing back, police being shot at each moment
David and other officers trying to take the borders and Tucson back.
Phoenix under pressure too, Texas about the same.

What happened when America has become a battle ground all of it own
war waged by drug dealers, invading our once safe and peaceful towns?
God bless you dear Cousin David, may the lord watch over you each moment
protecting you and the rest of the squad, and my family all living there under fire.

if the link doesn't work type in Violence on the Borders if you would like a glimpse into real life in Tuscon right now.
I am scared for my cousin and all of my family out there and at the same time I am proud and I honor his brave spirit.
Say a prayer for them all please, they need them.

Hugs
Michelle

hide out indefinitely.
