[bodytext] => Frank was laid to rest today, his widow given the flag they draped over the coffin. She the widow tearfully whispered to me as I approached her for that obligatory sympathy hug and kiss. “Franks in heaven now with God at peace”. But somehow I doubt he was going in that direction, miserable bastard that he was all his life. Still I hugged her tightly and told her. “He was a good man, and good neighbor”. I think she knows I’m full of *****, and in the long run. That’s all anyone could hope for here.
