The mugging

One of them grabbed her bag,
one cut the strap
with what she described as
at least
a two foot Bowie knife
while still another
come up from behind
blind siding her
with a hit
to her upper back
sending her to the floor
face first
smashing
and breaking her nose
leading to a two week stay at
St Vincents
three surgeries
and an unbelievable dislike
for Woody Allen
and his films
who she said
one of them,
the one who cut the strap
looked exactly like.
