Echos through the night,
Where all is fire and sultry wet,
Until dawn's breaking light.

To hold you tightly close to me,
And taste your soft sweet kiss,
Makes my heart race in the dark,
And fills my soul with bliss.

It feels forever since I have seen,
Your warm and loving face,
But I always keep it in my mind,
While in this dreary place.

I've written you a thousand poems,
In my mind it seems,
Yet into silence they fade away,
Into my sweetest dreams.

I know I've said a million times,
How much you mean to me,
But now here is the simple truth,
Without you---I could not be. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 269 [topic] => 2 [informant] => slayer_015 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

A flower is not beautiful in the garden of the house.
It is beautiful in the garden of the mind.
And judging by this poem the aurthor has a beautiful mind.
