But you told me your dreams
I wanted to remain friends
But you wanted the truth
yes!
It was your Flesh.

I glimpsed the rays of light that parted your lips,
I heard the graceful melody of your smile
Only to be drowned out by
DESIRE.
I just wanted your body baby!

You drew a sketch of me in your mind,
So I colored it in.
Bright strokes of red covered my mouth
But you kissed me anyway.
And it was soooo good. So good.
Jewels danced off of my tongue to a familiar tune,
Playing the same ole song with a different rhythm,
But you ignored the lyrics cause you liked the beat.
Didn't know I'd be a one hit wonder?
I just wanted your body girl

I wanted to touch your sweet liquid
And taste your cool flames
So that I would be physically nourished.
I may have left you thirsty but I never left you hungry.
I answered every question, even the ones never asked
While you closed your eyes and sang with me
Verse after verse until we were breathless
And when you awoke from a dead sleep
I was still in the air but my boots were gone...
Cause I just wanted your body lady

I'm sorry if I mislead you. You think I upset you
But if you forget to remember what I said
You could respect my unspoken words and
See that you were always free.
We took nothing.
But we gave something.
And I liked it. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 43 [informant] => BoscoMelano [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Very risqué, yet still implicit, which is good. It seems like the girl was taken advantage of, which is sad. Even though this poem deals with lust, it doesn't seem to endorse the speaker's actions, necessarily. Altogether, a pretty well-written poem.
