You said you'd understand

But now it's clear

You never understood

I don't believe you ever cared to.

My head is about to explode-

Go ahead and leave

Because I finally see

That I'm better off alone.

There's a fire in my soul

The flames are raging

And that heartless stare

Is plenty of fuel

To feed my fury.

We'll be better off

If you keep quiet

Because I can't take anymore

I've lived my life

A prisoner to this cruel society

I'd rather spend the rest in solitude.

My head's about to explode-

Go ahead and leave. [comments] => 13 [counter] => 299 [topic] => 6 [informant] => karoody [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

My dear Kara, I agree with the comment of kane. it is a powerful write. Excellently written. breath taking to general reader. the repetition of '"my head is about to explode-"in last but one line seems unnecessary it slightly dilutes the effect of poem. hope that you wre freed from suchpainful thoughts. hugs ,smile please..venkat
