I chose Brokeback Fountain for a title from many choices. I hope you like what I've done. [bodytext] => A plump chiseled cherub stood hidden,
Among ivy, tangled in vine,
Appearing to see past reflections,
Between lotus, peeling back time.

The sound of his pulse, liquid trickles,
His skin green with moss, once white stone,
Aged, with chipped wings, he's grown weathered,
Broke back, posing on his wet throne.

He once looked out over lush gardens,
Majestic they lived in their day;
Overgrown in weeds, now a jungle,
No one anymore finds their way.

Alone, he peers in sad remembrance,
His beauty drew vistitors, vast;
His sorrow foreboding abandon,
His future has buried his past.

Circles like whirpools, fading seasons,
All swirl by the hours he dreads;
"I sure wish I knew how to quit you,"
The only thought left in his head.

Nice poem. Quitting takes time if it/'/s meant to be quit. Just my experience.
