it soaked me to the skin.
It poured down my face and cascaded off my chin.
I dont care......

I stepped in a puddle much to deep
and filled both shoes with wet.
Mud splattered allover my jeans
I dont care........

People can say or do what they want
that karma rests all on them.
I will say and do what I want
if nobody likes it tuff
cause.....
I dont care.......

So let the rain fall, creating more piles of mud.
Let people drive like maniacs if they please.
I will do just what I want
it is my right for this moment so please....
I simply just dont care!

Great poem. I can truly relate because I have been in the same kind of mood for weeks. It is also raining cats and dogs outside right now as I type this. I love your writing style. You get your message across in a very straight-forward way. Great job!

:) I cant help but smile... I do wish to ask you one thing, thought, does the rain resemble your life?

Here in Africa, rain is a blessed and celebrated gift... As is the gift of life... and I cant help but feel that the people that are driving like maniacs has some influence on you as they do not sit and admire the gift of rain as you see it...

Either way, this is an amazing poem... I really like your style of writting!!

Celle you haven't lost your magic touch with your poetry............wonderful and understandable too! In this cruel ole world we live in.......I'm like you who cares what others do............not me.
So you're in Canada. I've been to Vancouver many years ago, and it's splendid. Love the Canadians..........they are so gracious.
Do you still have your little critters.
A "feeling" poem the best kind.
Love you too
