To be judged by the community you are in something everyone deals with... but to be judged by the lesbian community you are apart of as well... [bodytext] => Listening to songs that makes no sense
Speaking about yesterday in future tense
I realize how stumped and wrecked my soul has become
Realized how I’ve lost, how I’ve been outdone

Negative thoughts swim through my psyche
I’m just a petite woman, an insignificant dyke
So let this unfamiliar girl tell you what goes on in my mind
For my feelings have no value to you – are you all blind?!

Arrrg! I cant write anymore… No matter how much I’ve tried
It seems that not only my emotions, but my will has died
So many of you will me to talk, to let it all out into the air
But how can I explain that what you all say just isn’t fair?

Hurt me, hurt me as much as would please you,
But to my baby, my best friend, to her, just be true
Don’t judge her for things your imagination has created
Don’t hurt her, after all I am the one you marked as : hated

This is a well written and touching write. Tastefully written and expressed.
It is a hard thing to deal with when you are under others judgement, no matter the reason.

I myself will admit a truth here, for a long while I was a bit judgemental of the gay and lesbian community as well. Not openly, nor did I ever do anything to hurt another person but still in my mind. It had alot to do with where I lived and my religious upbringing at that time.

Now that I have left that place, and have been out in the world, allover everywhere infact and also grown as a person, to me I do not think anyone has a right to tell anyone else who they love. Not the government, not a religion, nobody. With that I will end with keep being who you are because that in itself is beautiful and this write is beautiful as well.

Good write! Be true to you, and forget those who are judging you. You weren't put on this earth for their approval. I will be looking for more of your poetry.
Peace to ya,
Thumper ;o)
