Do I choose her or do I choose you?
She’s so pretty with long blonde hair,
And legs that go from here to there,
But then again you’re soft and warm,
And cuddle close when there’s a storm.
How am I supposed to choose,
I know with either I can’t lose.

With her eyes of blue and pouty lips,
For a moment now the scale tips,
An image of time spent with her,
Seems right but still I am unsure,
For you can be the perfect friend,
To warm the heart with ear to lend,
You’d make the troubles disappear,
And give sweet hugs when you’re held near.

The choice is hard, oh what to do,
Do I choose her or do I choose you,
I could stay here thinking all the day,
But instead I think I’ll go this way.
I’ll take them both, who cares the price,
For me that answer’s rather nice,
For my daughter will like it most of all,
When she gets from me the teddy AND doll.

I was just about to call you something very nasty before I read the last line. Great poem. Really like the twist at the end.

This "takes the cake" for optomism...........
but it's a cake I enjoyed. Great poem.

In Nelson's navy you could hoist three flags that signalled to another ship "You are standing into danger"...................
