Amidst the noise, she heard her name
Whispered by the voice of an angel.
A voice which transcended time and space
A voice which made her heart swell.

It was early evening when the call was made
She felt herself listening to his every word
Hearing his voice had made her day
A more tender voice she had not heard

Never in a million years did she expect
To hear a voice so sweet.
Having read his words and seen his face
All that’s left for them is to meet.

Amidst the noise, she heard her name
