A stretch then shake a walk he'll take his eyes are full of wonder
Stepping down his throne of pillows he hears his servent sleep
From floor to chair to window sil he takes a mighty leap

Landing on the ground below he admires his poise and grace
He takes one more yawn and then he's gone with moonlight on his face
Leaving behind his mighty throne and chalace full of milk
When he's through he'll come back to his palace made of silk

Even though the night stands still his ears are filled with sound
This mighty king hears everything in air or on the ground
He walks the street with head held high in a royal way
With time to kill he'll get his fill before night turns to day

A growl stuns the king only turning his head to gaze
Closer comes a challenger emerging from the haze
Though low in stature health and youth the enemy still proceeds
With tooth and claw his mighty paw brings the pauper to his knees.

Mercy is found rarely in this royal court
Although certain things can be gained in matters of this sort
Lifting heavy paw he waves goodbye postponing death this night
Tomorrow every challenger will hear about his might

Traveling on the outskirts of his majestic land
Greed sets in under his skin and decides he must expand
Dreaming of new subjects and places he might roam
To his delight he sets his sight on an unfamiliar home

Climbing to the window he notices a crack
He'll have to squeeze twist and turn in effort this wont lack
Finally he pushes through landing on his head
Luckily no one did see so nothing can be said

First thing thats noticed by the king are toys everywhere
All so big he danced a jig and could not help but stare
Exploring a little further he found a drinking pool
Bigger than his own he'll call this home so he began his rule

Thinking that his highness is quite very alone
Meows of pride and ownership he diligently moaned
A scuffle in another chamber stopped his vain decree
From the shadows emerged a massive beast with a hieght of three foot three

The king realized he met another branch of royal blood
Beating faster every second his heart began to flood
Claws unleashed with hissing groans showing off his power
The beast does the same and puts to shame the king begins to cower

Dashing for the window to escape his greedy sin
He finds the pauper in his way smiling with a bloody grin
Demanding that the peasant move so that he might live
"It's not your land" the pauper said "no loyalty to give"

"You have no title here my friend and no demands to make"
"When your dead and beast is fed your throne I think I'll take"
"So turn around you desgraced king you'll never leave this place"
The king so does with teary eyes as the beast comes face to face

The screams and cries of this spoiled king echoes through out the night
Beast growls and plays for what seems like days much to his delight
Satisfied from what he's done the new king will rejoyce
He heads home to his new throne to play with all his toys.
