Array ( [sid] => 151652 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Chasing the Sun [time] => 2009-07-23 12:03:07 [hometext] => I literally feel like I have to chase the sun due to experiencing the coldest summer in my life. I miss the sun! I guess it allows me to appreciate it more with its absence. [bodytext] => I awaken to a sunlit room;
quicky, I find my running shoes.
The sun is a rare jewel in this cloudy cavern of July;
I open the door and gaze with my eye's, the sun's demise.

The sun was just here a moment ago!
Now the clouds have hidden the upbeat glow.
I missed the sun again;
It is becoming a long-lost friend.

I go back inside and hope the sun will stop hiding;
I cannot remember a day when I last felt the warmth of the sun's rays.
Again, the sun is peeking out at me seductively;
I must capture it's miracle before it hides behind its clouded veil.

I finally am enveloped in the sun's loving rays;
I only hope this time it stays.
Chasing the sun can be fun;
but nothing beats the smiling sun.

I have to agree with you, sunny days are like soul food.
It feeds us it's energy and revitalises us
Living in the UK means we don't see it as often as we would like to though lol
