A Sailors Tragedy

Swimming in the waters of the Captain

I slowly start to lose control of the waves

Swimming, Sinking, Stuttering, Screaming

I feel as if I知 dreaming

Inferior to the Captain I知 influenced by his poison

His kiss burning my lips even after he has left

Intrepid, Intoxicated, Intrigued, Intimidated

The coming actions were not anticipated

The Captain痴 touch grants me feeble

My Guardian Angel transformed as the Devil

Partying, Pushing, Persuading, Pleading

My words he is not heeding

Retorting with force, but Captain renders me motionless

The Devil strips me of my innocence left bare

Threatening, Thrashing, Thrusting, Throbbing

Seeming unaffected by the sounds of my sobbing

Captain eases my body like a narcotic; a false sense of torpidity

And Ecstasy breaks through the devils atrocity; a guilty pleasure

Disfigured, Disgusted, Disturbed, Disdained

I知 inside out and immediately ashamed

Captain evokes me from this hell

While the Devil leaves the scene of the crime

Abused, Abominated, Abated, Abhorred

My strident cry begging vindication from the lord

A malicious slumber created by the Captain

One at fourteen the Devil already addicted me to

Corrupted, Contorted, Comminuted, Consolidated,

Stuck in an everlasting stupor I was left completely sedated

A calamity brought upon by alcohol and lust

Malevolence achieved through wrongful trust

Irreversible, Immutable, Irremediable, Irrefutable

Forever tainted by his malice I am forever vulnerable

This is gut wrenchingly sad and painful. You captured that with excellence with as nice flow.

You have done a fine job conveying the monster that some would refer to as a man. Nice metaphor and I like that you found a way to use a word beginning with the same letter in each third line to convey the emotion.

Welcome to YPDC and thank goodness we have someone else here that does not write text message poetry.

Take care,

Tim
