For the things that are good I dismiss
I'm lost and alone as I call unto you
I need your help to make it through
I fight these feelings of disgust
And in myself I do not trust
Holding on to promises found in your word
But most times they are just blurred
Things of this world can be hard to fight
And leave you feeling broken and contrite
This poem I write so honest and true
As I plead for you to renew
Renew me from deep within
And from my heart please begin
I only want to be filled of you
So empty me Father and make me new
Hear my cry Oh Lord that's so sincere
To live without your Love is what I fear.

Father here I stand in need
