Yesterday he'd forgotten
My face in the stars the sun came out to
warm the ice off my bones the color in my cheeks bled away when he finally remembered I had been walking away The clocks all hang submissively although I am the one in submission to time My outwards countenance of strength, defiance Melts away in your presence you somehow reduce me to nothing Possibly because you're all I have to lose I want smiling faces and hands touching So gently and sincere I could hold your intentions in my heart My eyes become your muse My words an inspiration I, the visionary, am troubled by dreams the invasion of stress and lack of ambition not knowing who I am to become or if it's worth it to know.

Once again, tragically beautiful. So much emotion, so profoundly expressed.
