But only once music really died
Back in 58, august – 29
A birth of a prodigy saw the light
Five little brothers with the youngest to lead
In Apollo theatre started an American dream
However is soon that the world would see
The greatest soul phenomenon to be
Smashing hits from chart to chart
Vigorous gigs from town to town
Touching the soul of the young and old
Skin and race are barriers no more
Countless awards the brothers achieved
Yet to unopened doors the youngest would lead
A prince with a vision is a crownless king
Sees the undiscovered by human beings
Went off solo to compete with giants
Then came back home with the shares of lions
Ground breaking records to many was not viable
But geniuses can reach out to every miracle
But the bigger the star, the bigger the target
Foes like insect over splash of syrup
Innocent mistakes can turn in to a scandal
Too much pressure for one man to handle
Fake friends disappear in times like these
True friends always in hard time revealed
With major fame trails always prevail
With major success leeches will definitely be there
The price of fame is an exposed privacy
And oppose success is a mass of jealousy
This is the life of a super celebrity
Under spotlights is unknown destiny
But a man with crumbles not to be a flop
The music non stoppable and still on top
Talent is scooped out from the magic pot
Initiating a kingdom as he is the king of pop
The world was about to moonwalk soon
Anticipating the return in the O2 dome
1 million tickets broke another record
Now the bundle of wonders continued the legend
But legends are human beings
Though to us immortals they seemed
One day their souls will be redeemed
Ascending away to the world of the unseen
In 2009, June the 25th
It was announced the demise of a myth
Music went dud, spotlights went out
Microphones unplugged, studios shutdown
Music dried out since there’s no dance, no shout
Stages are dull since no original moonwalks
Inventing has stopped since there’re no genuine minds
With these rhymes I announce, ‘the music has died’

In the loving memory of
Michael Jackson
1958 – 2009

I'm shocked no one commented on this yet. So happy I found this; Michael Jackson was my inspiration for writing, dancing, and singing. A priceless work of poetry you have here. What a beautiful tribute,

Deidra
