In my best John Wayne voice:

Ya' want me an' my posse ta go round the feller up, mamm and show 'im some manners?

--

Anyway, yeah, it matters not how much someone sugar coats it, it still hurts doesn't it?

He's not worth the salt in your tears if he can't see how sweet you are, my dearest "L".

Hi Elle,

As always - you say so much in such few words!

Well written.

Oh! Elle!

I am now fifty-eight and a half and I have lived by far the majority of my life snared within the reality your words express. I have experienced two divorces and the agonizing demize of a desperate relationship; thoughts of suicide have been a dependable companion; I have twice broken down mentally; for the majority of my life, I would not Love my Self. All of this is captured in this piece of prose; the ache, the loneliness, the hopeless repetition of failed dreams, the agony... There comes a time when the soul simply does not know how to cry any more. I assure you, those who are worthy of your Love, Love you with a desperation you cannot imagine. I'm crying...the pain is oh, so, familiar... Your words touched a tender portion of my spirit...

blessings,

ron...enigma

Moving and revealing. I don't might getting hurt - it's the pain I can't stand.

oh, and the humiliation, the sense of betrayal, feeling ever so foolish and small. See how evocative the poem is?
