Don’t be foolish nothing to live for?
If you’re so blind the there’s the door
I’ll help if you if you really don’t care
I’m here live for me if that’s not enough

You can lie all you want about wanting to end your life
You’ll be sitting there holding the knife
Scared “what will happen on the other side”
Nothing for you my friend there’s no glory in suicide

You quit not because you have nothing to live for
You can’t handle it all; your making of the mind went loose
So here’s the door
Put noose around your neck
You I’ll never forget

You’re a fool but you’re a friend
Why do you want it to end?

You say you want to end your life
Then take the knife

Suicide is probably the ultimate selfish act. I understand the demons that makes one think of it but to go through with it shows how much the person is wrapped up in their own woes. When instead they need to stop and think of how it is affecting the people that love and value them. I understand this feeling of where you're coming from. I understand the anger.

Wish you the best with that and definitely do not envy you.

I truly appreciate you for what you have said here.
Watching someone in this state of mind is so heartbreaking.
I hope the person to whom this refers hears these words
that obviously come straight from the heart

Believe me, I know how much effort it takes to keep on fighting.

Tell your friend to never give up. Depression is like a long dark tunnel that seems to have no end, but with a lot of help and a lot more determination it CAN end.

Maybe I was just lucky, but I came out on the other side, and I look back now, thankful I didn't quit looking for a reason to go on living.

That's what your friend needs to do. Keep looking for a reason NOT to die. Be it family or friends or whatever, find a reason to LIVE.

You take on a very serious subject here. You have my greatest respect for doing so.

I loved the fact you can get so honest here.
You know how I feel about suicide.....
I agree with everything Tim said to the letter.
