So much comfort here
because often those very people are the ones
who drag us down emotionally,mentally,socially
and stepping away from the flame will allow you to gather yourself
and channel that magic you have

I know you wrote this for someone else, but I want you to know that I'll keep this poem of yours in the back of my mind whenever I'm doubtful of myself etc. It was wonderful; short, sweet and to the point. Good job on this one!
