The lights seem to fade as though running away
No matter what it will be okay
The hardness of its skin as it brakes through
Shredding the kind and gentle
Pulled up only to stumble
You can only imagine the rumble
Here they come tearing down the side
The heat felt like the prick of a thorn upon my neck
The blast of light has only means of bad news
We burst of the place to set our pace as fast as rockets shooting up to the sky
We got so high only to come back down
When landed swaying back and forth as though in a hammock
Watching the stars glaze
Connecting the dots seemed so much simpler now
Everything ends with the blur of the world in my palm all connected.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
