The rain floods all around me
I blink my eyes trying to see
All I can see are the faces of the ones who care
To look into their eyes, I could never dare,
they'd see the pain behind my smile
the pain I've hidden so well for quite a while
They'd see my tears
they'd know my fears,
my cover would be blown
what I've hidden so well will be shown
I don't want to cry
but the tears linger, no matter how hard I try
I feel so small and helpless
I'm too weak to get myself out of this mess
I've never needed help before
now I'm ready to open that door
here's my first and only cry for help
so see it now, the pain I've felt
please get me out of it
the flood is starting to drown me, and I need a new breathing kit
it used to be the blood in me
but now I want something better to be
I wanna live without this pain
I want to finally say "I'm sane"
please guide me through
only you know what to do
now you have my cry,
help me, help me, before I die...

| i can see its very emotional, good write but i would say you should put spaces between verses makes it easier to read. keep up the good work :) |
