And I have no where to go.

When no one cares if I’m lost

or put in a hole in the ground.

There are times when I’m happy

and there's no one to hold

When I think god has given up

and I give up too.

I just sit around and look at the world

and look at what its become.

Guns, drugs, and prostitution

and I say to myself how I can it get any worse.

I just think of you and my life feels a whole lot better

I’m thinking of your smile and voice

And all of the good times we’ve had

your the one keeping me alive.

Day by day I wonder what’s the purpose of my life

and I get the same blank answer.

I wonder if my life is worth anything

but I look at you and I know it is

I have to be here to comfort you at your worst times

to make you laugh when your sad

Be there to make you safe

There are times when I’m sad

And I have no where to go.

When no one cares if I’m lost

or put in a hole in the ground.

There are times when I’m happy

and there's no one to hold

When I think god has given up

and I give up too.

I just sit around and look at the world

The world outside..... It get's crazier and crazier as the days go by.... It is truly sad....I applaud you for sticking by her side, not many people stick around when the road get's rough....Even the smallest acts of kindness can go a long way......Good write!
