I'm just waiting on you Til you come on home to me, Killing time without you Trying' to keep my tears Which will not subside When you're not around. I'm countin' down the minutes With the hope that hands will Move a little bit further Approaching your returnin'... Yet I'm just sitting over here And waiting on you, killing time. So long, so long I've been waiting For this moment to arrive, Imaginin' the way you'll be sitting Right beside me and holdin' me tight. I've been waiting on you to touch My lips one more time And heal my suffered heart, That feels so untouched right now And slows down in expection Of you to come on home. I'm just waiting on you Til you come home to me, Killing time without you Trying' to keep my tears Which will not subside When you're not around.
