Everyone is their own person... and I hope you enjoy this! [bodytext] => Trying to find my own place in the world,
Daring to dream my own dreams,
Refusing to fall to the critics,
Writing to my own heartbeat.
Letting my pen fly over the page,
Gathering emotions and tucking them in
To package of what a poem is,
And has been.
Looking at things in a whole different way,
Refusing to see things bleak and opaque,
Letting my words clear out all the gray,
Seperate the real from the fake.
Watching the world
Through curious eyes
I write down all that I find,
And bottled into words
Are feelings and actions,
My confusion, repulsion,
And instant attractions.
It lets the world see
What I see from my view,
The words of the poem
Let me do what I do.
So please before you criticize
Anything you see,
How do you know, really,
What it's like to be me?

I loved that poem. The reason I love it is because to many people criticize. They only criticize because their misable and they want others to be too. They do it because they like to hurt others. Do what you do best and don't let no body stop you. I think that you are talented and don't let any one tell you other wise. Poetry is beautiful all around. No one should be allowed to judge because one ones perfect. Keeping writing your poems no matter what because you can't please everyone.
