He calls my letters spun spiels as I bare my soul

Should I stop myself from telling him I love him?
He seems burdened I make him out into some god he knows

I wake up hearing him, to his mute pain and his madness
And then his skeptic thoughts stumble, my very existence mocked

The impossible love I created should have touched his soul
But he belongs to a world I don’t, horizons I could abandon

He needs me, he needs me not, petals in the wind
Causeway games, life played out, from invisible roads

Tired eyes from his sleepless nights burn my days in hell
And so I write him again, and again, rain on desert lives…

What a fantastic read! I nlove the style.

He needs me, he needs me not, petals in the wind
Causeway games, life played out, from invisible roads

It's almost a little spooky! Thankyou...

This was great! It reads smooth and the tone is quite eerie. Very well written.

Have you been reading my mind? Yeah, I wish I could say I couldn't relate, but I can. Wonderful poem though. I hope it works out for you and your special someone too. Also, never stop writing! You have quite a talent for it. Take care.
