dead wick
weigh on the crescendo
lies tangent to lullabyes
underscoring black eyes
longevity
measured in the booming
of voices
In the scratch marks
The finger nails that god sweeps
Butcher shop linoleum
Raining blood
Finger licking good
Lovely day
Hike
twin peaks
piled rotting jaw bones
Decayed tongues
Sinewed bridges
Quivering
Whats the distance?
How displaced
How far off
Lies perpendicular
Unparalleled jealousy
And diamonds
And more blood
Painted machines
And grinding teeth
Im confused
Ing
She is dead
No one is that pail
No one smells like rotting peaches
No one is that beautiful
And he is scratching solylequies
On bathroom stalls
Absorb
Memories
No eyes
No soul
Just memories
Carved
she might be pregnant
at least she will be drinking heavily
and we
we might be
the crazies
that riot
and rape
and pillage
and murder we
we
we are all crazy
but me
me
me who is me
who be
coming underground
a worm
write decomposition

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
